Debra Leroy

Business Relations & Health Services Coordinator

debra-leroyMs. Leroy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Elmwood Terrace. Debra holds two graduate degrees in nursing, one with a focus on nurse practitioner, and the other in health administration. She is an expert in electronic health record systems, both in education and integration. Debra has extensive experience in clinical and administrative roles within skilled nursing facilities in the greater Chicagoland area. Ms. Leroy is eager to assist families in creating a friendly and warm admission process to Elmwood Terrace, and navigating through the challenges that accompany it. This support continues throughout the transitional stages after admission, for family and residents alike here at Elmwood Terrace.


 

Kimberly Arrington RN

Director of Nursing

Director of the Elmwood Terrace Skilled Nursing FacilityKimberly “Kim” is also in her 9th year at Elmwood Terrace. Born in Chicago Kim has three childeren and resides in Aurora. She received her LPN from Triton College and her RN from Elgin Community College. Prior to Elmwood Terrace Kim practiced nursing for 13 years at Weschester Health and Alden Valley Ridge. “Elwood Terrace is so special to me. I truely have the best staff who always put the resident’s needs first. I think that is what sets apart…I love coming to work every day. My residents and my staff are my second family.”

 


 

Vince Larson

Director Dietary Services

Illinois Nursing Home Meal PlannerVince has been at Elmwood Terrace for over 5 years. Born in Morris he has been practicing culinary arts for over 28 years. An avid outdoorsmen he looks forward to coming to work every day. His favorite thing to do for our residents is baking anything. His Irish Soda Bread is one of their favorite’s. “I look forward to getting here every day and providing delicious and nutrious meals for my residents!”


 

Vicky Wollenweber

Business Office Manager

Elmwood Terrace Illinois Short Term Care Office ManagerVicky is in her 8th year of service at Elmwood Terrace. She is our go to person when it comes to Medicare, Medicaid and helping our residents and their families with the financial part of our community. Vicky has been in the Healthcare industry since 1998 after attending Waubonsee Community College. When not at work she enjoys activities at her church and time with family. This will most likely be one of the first bright faces and helpful people you will see as you pass through our doors. Vicky says My favorite quote is: “Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder.”


 

Dora Johnson

Social Services and Activities Director

Illinois Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activities DirectorDora was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico coming to Chicago when she was just 7 years old. She now calls Aurora her home where she lives with with her husband and step-son. Dora joined us last year with 11 years of great experience in Social Services and Long Term Care. She too has attended Triton College and also has her certification in dietary management. “It’s an honor to work here at Elmwood. It’s a little home with a big heart, I love my residents and my staff with all my heart!”


 

Celestine Quillen

Director of Environmental Services

Director of Cleaning at Illinois Nursing Home and Short Term Care FacilityBorn in Cebu of the Philippines, Celestine is the 3rd of 11 children. She is fluent in multiple languages including Spanish and her native tongue Tagalo. She has over 30 years in health care and 17 of those are right here at Elmwood Terrace. Celestine is responsible for keeping Elmwood safe and green both environmentally and with her green thumb that keeps all happy when we thaw out in the spring! An Aurora resident she enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 3 grandchildren. “It feels good when I hear our residents and guest comment on how clean our facility is and how nice it smells. We work hard every day for our residents and their families!”
