Of Passover and Easter
What a great time of year this is. After the brutal relentless winter, we are beginning to turn green and the promise of new life is all around us.
This week will be full of joy and wonder in our community as little ones hunt with excitement for eggs and more eggs. Tomorrow the Easter Bunny will make a vist. Our residents will share a great Easter Brunch on Sunday while my family will ourselves feast on lamb with all of the fixings. We will clebrate with 20 or so dear friends, drink, reaquaint and laugh. Regardless of your religion, it is a time of renewal and celebration for a lot of us.
If you have a loved one in a long term care facility I hope you can spend some time with them. They too need to feel the sense of the green, the budding of the trees and the renewal and the promise of those flowers blooming once again!
